EXTENDED CARE
Extended care is available for our kindergarten students from 3:30pm - 6:00pm and costs
$9.00 per hour for any portion of that hour.
LATE PICK-UP
A fee of $10 for the first 10 minutes and $20 per 10 minutes thereafter will be charged
for each child picked up after 5:50pm.
TUITION POLICIES
Tuition and fundraising are the sole source of revenue in our school. We have set the
following policies to ensure that Bright Ideas remains a financially stable school,
which can provide high quality care and schooling to children. A stable and adequate
salary is necessary to attract well-educated and well-trained professionals to provide
those services. In order to meet our financial obligations, we will expect families to
comply with the following policies.
Application: To secure a space for your child, we will need a nonrefundable registration
fee of $75.00, plus the equivalent of one week’s tuition, as a deposit. With two weeks
written notice, this deposit will be credited as payment toward the last week of tuition
only. If there is no space in the preferred classroom, a $75.00 nonrefundable registration
fee will ensure a position on the waiting list. This is not a guarantee of placement.
Families with a sibling currently enrolled at Bright Ideas will be prioritized.
Families currently enrolled at Bright ideas that wish to add or change days will be
prioritized. Date of registration will be the final consideration.
Tuition Payment: Tuition is budgeted and planned for on a yearly basis; however,
it is billed weekly. Parents may elect to pay the full tuition in one payment, two
payments or a weekly payment. Payment is to be paid by Friday of the preceding week.
Kindergarten tuition is billed and due the first of each month. Other payment schedules
will be accepted at the discretion of the director only. Such requests are to be made
in writing.
Tuition and fees may be paid by personal check, certified cashier’s check or money order.
Your canceled check is your receipt. Receipts will be given for cash payments. Receipts
will also be given for those receiving employee childcare reimbursements. Requests for
such receipts need to be made to the office manager in writing. Payments and messages
may be left in the mailbox outside the Toddler Room. Because the yearly tuition is
budgeted with holidays and sick days already considered, there is no reduction in weekly
tuition due those days. A 5% discount will be extended to families with two or more
children attending at least 3 full days. (The discount will be applied to the lowest
tuition.)
Late Fees: There will be a charge of $10.00 for late tuition payments. An additional late
fee of $10.00 per day for any tuition payment more than two weeks in arrears will be
applied. Tuition is due in advance of the week in attendance. There will be a $25.00
fee for any check that is returned for insufficient funds.
Tax Information: For your tax statement, our federal ID number is 05-046-1266. We will
provide all families with an accounting statement for payments made during the calendar
year.
